Cabrera hit .185 with zero home runs, seven steals and a 29.8 percent strikeout rate in 23 games for Single-A Down East.
Cabrera was already 19 when he received the promotion from the Arizona Complex League to Single-A, so he was an appropriate age for the Carolina League, even if the sample was small. His top tool is plus speed that he is better at using on the bases than in the outfield, as he still sees plenty of time in the outfield corners. As a two-year Dominican Summer League participant (2022-23), Cabrera was old for the ACL this year, but he was a data darling, slashing .301/.438/.571 with nine home runs, 17 steals and a 42:40 K:BB in 49 games.
