Red Sox's Alex Speas: Outrighted to Triple-A

The Red Sox outrighted Speas to Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Speas passed through waivers unclaimed after being removed from the 40-man roster and will remain in the organization. The reliever has an 11.47 ERA this season at the Triple-A level.
