Red Sox's Brock Holt: Making steady but gradual progress

Holt is having the most difficulty in the outfield as he works to return from a concussion, Mass Live reports. "As he's having to adjust to the flight of the ball, the focus that his eyes have to go through, that's where he's felt maybe the least confident," manager John Farrell said Friday. "But it was slightly improved yesterday."

Farrell described Holt's progress as "steady but gradual" and the utility player could begin a rehabilitation assignment next week, pending an evaluation with a concussion specialist in Pittsburgh on Monday.
