Red Sox's David Price: Officially placed on DL

Price (elbow) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Saturday, Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports.

The club still hasn't outlined a timetable for Price to return to action, but he's been participating in some baseball activities and has thrown on flat ground from 75-to-90 feet recently. It's been estimated that Price could miss all of April.
