Reds' Alfredo Simon: Rehab assignment ending soon

Simon (shoulder) will pitch again on his rehab assignment Monday for Triple-A Louisville, but should be ending his assignment soon and joining the big club after September roster expansion.

Simon probably will work in long relief, though a spot start or two could still come if/when the Reds shut down Brandon Finnegan.
