Rockies' Austin Wynns: Removed from 40-man roster

Wynns cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.

The Rockies are doing some cleanup on their 40-man roster and Wynns is one of the casualties. He has the ability to become a free agent if he so chooses rather than accept the minor-league assignment.
