Rockies' Joshua Fuentes: Optioned to Triple-A

Fuentes was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday.

Fuentes had lost out on playing time recently and was just 2-for-20 with three runs, a walk and two strikeouts in seven games since the All-Star break. He'll attempt to turn things around in the minors, and his demotion will make room for right-hander Jose Mujica on the active roster.
