Royals' Chance Adams: Called up to big club

The Royals recalled Adams from their alternate training site Sunday.

Adams will provide Kansas City with a fresh multi-inning arm out of the bullpen after the Royals needed four relievers to cover the final five innings of Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Twins. The 26-year-old right-hander, who made 13 relief appearances for the Yankees in 2019, has yet to make his Kansas City debut.
