Royals' Mike Brosseau: Signs minors deal with KC

Brosseau signed a minor-league contract with the Royals on Thursday.

Brosseau made the Brewers' Opening Day roster this past season, but he batted just .205/.256/.397 across 29 games before being cut loose. He then spent a bit of time overseas with the Chiba Lotte Marines of Nippon Professional Baseball. The 29-year-old returns stateside as organizational infield depth for Kansas City.
