Ryan Castellani: Parts ways with Oakland

Castellani was released by the A's on Friday, Melissa Lockard of The Athletic reports.

Castellani joined the Athletics on a minor-league deal during the offseason and briefly joined the major-league roster in April, when he delivered 2.2 scoreless frames over three appearances. He struggled at Triple-A Las Vegas though with an 11.97 ERA over 26 innings, leading to his release.
