Tigers' Christin Stewart: Sent to alternate training site

Stewart was optioned to the alternate training site after Tuesday's win over the Brewers, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Stewart started in left field Tuesday and went 0-for-2 with a run and a walk, extending his hitless streak to five games. The 26-year-old will head to the alternate site with a .171/.233/.317 slash line in 33 games this season.
