Kepler was diagnosed with a bruised right fifth toe after exiting Sunday's game against the Tigers, Megan Ryan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
The 29-year-old was hit by a pitch during the third inning and was replaced by a pinch runner. Kepler will have Minnesota's scheduled day off Monday to aid in his recovery before Tuesday's series opener against the Brewers.
