Twins' Pat Dean: Starting Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader

Dean will receive the start in the first game of Thursday's split doubleheader against the Tigers.

Dean was bumped out of the rotation earlier in September and has most recently pitched out of the bullpen. It's quite possible he will be on a limited pitch count in his temporary return to the rotation Thursday.
