Twins' Tim Beckham: On IL with quad strain

Beckham will begin the season the 7-day IL at Triple-A St. Paul with a left quad strain, Brandon Warne of Access Twins reports.

Beckham was hurt late in spring training and apparently won't be able to play as the Triple-A season begins. He'll likely spend most of the season at Triple-A unless Minnesota needs depth at utility infielder.
