Yankees' Mark Teixeira: Enters late in Tuesday's win

Teixeira (neck) came into Tuesday's win over the Blue Jays as a defensive replacement.

A sore neck has held the first baseman out of the lineup for the past three days, but the ailment is apparently not severe enough to keep him off the field entirely. Teixeira may continue to sit occasionally in favor of Tyler Austin down the stretch, but it does appear as though he's nearing a recovery.
