Swisher officially signed a minor-league deal with the Yankees on Wednesday and will report to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in time for Thursday's game, Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News reports.
Swisher was a fan-favorite in the Bronx, but time has not been kind to the former All-Star over the past two years, as he's hit just .204 over that span. However, this move is fairly low-risk for both sides as if he struggles, he'll stay in Triple-A and if he can find his swing, he could be back in a comfortable situation.
