Nets' Randy Foye: Returns to bench role

Foye will move back to the bench for Sunday's matchup with the Trail Blazers, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

With Jeremy Lin (hamstring) still out and Isaiah Whitehead recently recovering from a concussion, Foye was able to get some run as the team's starting point guard. However, he's really struggled during that time, especially offensively, and has combined to shoot just 4-of-13 from the field and 2-of-8 from the three-point line over the team's last three games. Lin remains sidelined, but the Nets have opted to push Whitehead back into the starting five, meaning Foye will come off the bench and could see a decrease in his minutes load.
