49ers' Jared Mayden: Suffers quad injury

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Sunday that Mayden sustained a quadriceps injury, Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Mayden injured his quadriceps during Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Saints, in which he recorded one solo tackle. He'll work to get healthy in time to retake the field versus the Rams in Week 11.
