49ers' Jon Feliciano: Placed on IR after knee surgery

The 49ers placed Feliciano (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Feliciano underwent surgery to fix the ongoing knee soreness that has plagued him during training camp. He's not slated to return until some point in the middle of the regular season.
