Alex Ellis: Signs with practice squad

Ellis signed with the Cardinals' practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Ellis spent time with the Raiders in camp, but he was cut with an injury settlement on Sept. 3 and has been trying to get another opportunity since. With David Wells (hand) and Demetrius Harris (COVID-19) uncertain moving forward, Ellis will provide tight end depth for the Cardinals.
