Ian Williams: Released by 49ers

Williams was waived by the 49ers after reaching an injury settlement with the team on Thursday, Adam Caplan of ESPN.com reports.

Williams was placed on the Reserve/Non-Football injury list during the preseason and hasn't played a snap this season. He'll now look to find his way onto a another roster in need of defensive line help.
