Jared Mayden: Out with quad injury

Mayden (quadriceps) was placed on the 49ers' practice squad injured list Tuesday.

Mayden was elevated as an extra player from the practice squad for Sunday's loss to the Saints and reverted to the practice squad after the contest. He'll be unavailable for at least the next few weeks due to the injury.
