Vikings' Audie Cole: Lands on IR

Cole was placed on the season-ending injured reserve list Tuesday after breaking his ankle during Sunday's contest.

Cole got the start at middle linebacker with Eric Kendricks (ribs) ruled out prior to Sunday's game and the 26-year-old recorded two solo tackles before breaking his ankle. Jason Trusnik will take his place on the roster and provide depth at linebacker, but it remains to be seen who might start for the Vikings if Kendricks is held out of the lineup another week.
