Avalanche's Jason Polin: Called up Friday

Polin was recalled from AHL Colorado on Friday.

The Avalanche are in dire need of someone up front, as they have only 11 healthy forwards after Gavin Brindley suffered a lower-body injury against the Rangers on Thursday. Polin had three goals and three assists in 16 AHL games before his recall.
