Avalanche's Saige Weinstein: Signs entry-level contract

Weinstein inked a three-year, entry-level contract with the Avalanche on Friday.

The undrafted 18-year-old defenseman impressed the Avalanche enough to earn himself an entry-level deal. Weinstein had four goals and 14 assists in 57 games with WHL Spokane last season and was pointless in his first game this season.
