Blackhawks' Zach Sanford: Put on waivers

Sanford was waived by Chicago on Sunday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Sanford collected eight assists, 24 shots on goal, 19 blocked shots and 24 hits in 29 regular-season contests between Arizona and Chicago in 2023-24. He also provided three goals and three helpers in 13 regular-season outings for AHL Rockford. Sanford could begin the 2024-25 season in the minors.
