Blues' Matthew Peca: Dropped to minors

Peca was sent down to AHL Springfield on Monday.

Peca notched one assist, three shots and three hits in his previous five contests in which he averaged just 9:38 of ice time. With the Blues off until Dec. 27 versus the Devils, the decision to move the 28-year-old Peca to the minors is likely more of a cap-saving measure.
