Blues' Matthew Peca: Hits waivers

Peca was waived by the Blues on Thursday, TSN's Chris Johnston reports.

Peca has already been playing for AHL Springfield over the past two weeks, picking up five helpers through six appearances, so he'll simply stick with St. Louis' minor-league affiliate in the likely event he passes through waivers unclaimed. The 29-year-old forward picked up one assist through five games with the Blues last season.
