Blues' Matthew Peca: Joins big club

Peca was recalled from AHL Springfield on an emergency basis Friday.

The Blues are dealing with several injured skaters, so there's a chance that Peca could make his NHL season debut Saturday against Montreal. The 28-year-old has 10 goals and 17 points in 19 AHL games. He recorded an assist in five NHL appearances with Ottawa last season.
