Bruins' Georgi Merkulov: Sent down Friday

Merkulov was reassigned to AHL Providence on Friday, per CapFriendly.

Merkulov has dressed in the last four games for Boston but has yet to score his first career NHL point. He'll likely be brought back up before Saturday's tilt with the Lightning.
