Canadiens' Steve Ott: Acquired by Montreal

The Canadiens acquired Ott from the Red Wings on Tuesday in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick in 2018.

The acquisition of the 34-year-old Ott gives the Habs some added grit. Ott is mostly known for being an irritant, and the club likely plans to have him get under the skin of opponents in the postseason. Fantasy owners in deeper pools may value Ott for his hits (101) and fairly frequent trips to the sin bin (63 PIM).
