Canucks' Tom Willander: Sent to minors

Willander was assigned to AHL Abbotsford on Sunday.

Willander signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Canucks during the offseason, but he'll begin the 2025-26 campaign in the minors. He was selected 11th overall by the Canucks in the 2023 NHL Draft, and it's possible that he joins Vancouver at some point this year.
