Capitals' Brett Leason: Signs two-way deal

Leason signed a one-year, two-way contract with Washington on Monday.

Leason will be placed on waivers Monday to be assigned to AHL Hershey if he clears. The 26-year-old forward had five goals, 17 points, 79 shots on net, 44 blocked shots and 64 hits across 62 appearances with Anaheim during the 2024-25 regular season.
