Flames' Adam Werner: Heading down to AHL

Werner was reassigned to AHL Stockton on Sunday.

The Flames appear content to roll with Jacob Markstrom and Daniel Vladar between the pipes, necessitating Werner's demotion. The 24-year-old spent five games playing professionally in his native Sweden last season before posting a 2.55 GAA and .908 save percentage with AHL Colorado, so he appears to have quite a road ahead to making an impact at the NHL level.
