Greg Chase: Not tendered qualifying offer

The Panthers declined to make Chase a qualifying offer, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

Chase split his time between the AHL and ECHL last season, but he's struggled to consistently contribute at the highest level of the minors. Still just 23, the winger could eventually find his way to the NHL ranks, but there's nothing to this point to suggest he will enter into fantasy conversations down the road.
