Hurricanes' Jesper Fast: Designated to non-roster list

Fast (neck) was placed on the injured non-roster list Monday.

Fast had neck surgery in August and won't play in the 2024-25 season. He will be replaced in the lineup by William Carrier. The 32-year-old Fast notched six goals, 19 points and 79 shots on net in 73 contests during the 2023-24 regular season.
