Kings' Teddy Purcell: Waived by LA

The Kings waived Purcell on Saturday, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports.

Purcell has been a healthy scratch for the Kings' last four games, so this move doesn't come as much of a surprise. It remains to be seen whether the veteran winger will be willing to report to AHL Ontario if he isn't claimed by another NHL club off waivers.
