Mammoth's Gabe Smith: Three points for Moncton in win

Smith scored a goal and added two assists in QMJHL Moncton's 9-2 win over Newfoundland on Saturday.

Smith has started January with six points over three outings. That follows a 15-point effort over 10 December games. For the season, the Mammoth prospect has 18 goals, 26 helpers and a plus-25 rating across 34 appearances, taking a large leap forward on offense in his fourth year of junior hockey.
