Mammoth's Kevin Rooney: Tallies in team debut

Rooney scored a goal in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Stars.

This was Rooney's Mammoth debut, and he was able to make a contribution on offense. The 32-year-old got into the lineup because Barrett Hayton (illness) was unavailable. Rooney is likely to be a part-time option at best moving forward, and he's also just as likely to end up back at AHL Tucson eventually.
