Maple Leafs' Cade Webber: Inks two-year contract extension

Webber signed a two-year, $1.65 million contract extension with the Maple Leafs on Monday.

Webber signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Toronto in April, and he'll earn a two-year extension ahead of the regular season. His deal will be a two-way contract during the 2025-26 campaign before converting to a one-way deal for the 2026-27 season. It seems unlikely that the 23-year-old will see much, if any, time in the NHL this year.
