Matt Bartkowski: Released from PTO

Bartkowski was released from his professional tryout offer with the Penguins on Saturday, Rob Rossi of The Athletic reports.

Bartkowski wasn't able to secure a deal with Pittsburgh, but he may be able to land a two-way contract with another NHL organization before the 2021-22 campaign kicks off. The 33-year-old blueliner picked up eight points through 23 games with AHL Iowa last season.
