Panthers' Rodrigo Abols: Waived on Wednesday

Abols was designated for waivers by the Panthers on Wednesday, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston report.

Abols started the year with Swedish club Orebro for which he registered nine goals and eight helpers in 25 appearances. The 25-year-old center will likely end up in the minors, rather than the taxi squad, in order to continue developing his game.
