Rangers' Jaroslav Chmelar: Demoted to minors

Chmelar was sent down to AHL Hartford on Wednesday.

Chmelar has appeared in six games for the Rangers this season in which he has failed to generate any points while posting 13 hits, three shots and seven PIM. Along with Chmelar, the Rangers also returned Brett Berard to the minors while bringing up Brennan Othmann and Gabe Perreault in corresponding moves.
