Rangers' Tim Gettinger: Assigned to AHL affiliate

Gettinger was demoted to AHL Hartford from the active roster Tuesday.

Gettinger will rejoin AHL Hartford, where he has tallied 19 points over 24 appearances this season. The 23-year-old logged 9:34 of ice time and was held without a point in his most recent NHL appearance Jan 15. Fellow winger Morgan Barron received a promotion to the active roster in a corresponding move.
