Rangers' Tim Gettinger: Assigned to taxi squad

Gettinger was demoted to the taxi squad from the active roster Sunday.

Gettinger has averaged 8:56 of ice time and been held without a point over his four NHL appearances this season. The 23-year-old was demoted to accommodate the expected return of Alexis Lafreniere and Barclay Goodrow from the NHL's COVID-19 protocols ahead of Wednesday's game against Toronto.
