Rangers' Tim Gettinger: Joins taxi squad

Gettinger was elevated to the taxi squad Tuesday.

Gettinger has certainly earned his call-up considering he has recorded eight goals and eight helpers in 21 contests with AHL Hartford. The Rangers will likely shuffle taxi squad players around to avoid sitting anyone for too long, especially if they don't need to add players to the active roster ahead of a two-game road trip.
