Red Wings' Carter Rowney: Activated off IR

Rowney (undisclosed) was removed from injured reserve Wednesday.

Rowney has missed the last 17 games since landing on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury Jan. 4. The 32-year-old has averaged 10:43 of ice time and recorded four points over 22 games this season. He could make an appearance as soon as Wednesday's contest against Colorado.
