Franzen (concussion) was placed on long-term injury reserve Thursday, Fox Sports reports.
Franzen, who's been out since early October with a concussion, remains out indefinitely per genermal manager Ken Holland. Concussion symptoms forced him to miss much of the 2014-15 season as well, so at this point it's unclear if he'll be able to return at all this year.
