Sabres' Felix Sandstrom: Starting against Detroit

Sandstrom will guard the home crease in Monday's preseason game against the Red Wings, according to Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News.

Sandstrom will likely play out the 2024-25 season with AHL Rochester, so long as Buffalo's netminders remain healthy. The 27-year-old was 1-2-0 with an .823 save percentage and a 3.88 GAA in five regular-season appearances with the Flyers in 2023-24.
