Sabres' Zach Metsa: Sent to AHL

Metsa was returned to AHL Rochester on Saturday.

Metsa was recalled Friday to fill out the Sabres' roster for their preseason finale against Pittsburgh. He has spent the last two seasons with the Amerks and is likely to spend most, if not all, of the 2025-26 campaign in the AHL.
